What will you be engaged in?

  • Manage and drive major strategic projects to improve Business Metrics and take responsibility of cost efficiency and revenue management of SOCAR
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategy for SOCAR Business based on data analytics with guidance from Data Analytics Manager
  • Responsible for day-to-day performance analytics of fleets of SOCAR’s and its partners’, produce and share insight to internal and external stakeholders
  • Improve and maintain dashboards, producing accurate periodical insight and data that are meaningful for the business and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with HQ business Intelligence and manage internal stakeholders across departments to ensure the smooth delivery of strategic projects
  • Work across different departments/functions (tech, business, finance, operations, marketing, customer experience) and different services (SBM, TREVO) and also on high impact projects and support business expansion initiatives
  • Part of the internal consulting function, develop strategy and initiatives to support pricing, insurance product, fleet maintenance, area coverage and competitiveness

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • At least 2 years of experience in an analytical background
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business Analytics or any numerate degrees equivalent. Candidates with Post-Graduate degree (i.e. Masters / PhD) are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must have SQL experience e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Superset preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of Python or R coupled with basic machine learning methodologies and algorithms experience
  • Working knowledge of dashboarding software or service, e.g. Superset, Tableau, QlikSense, Power BI and Google Data Studio
  • Must have a collaborative approach to problem-solving and be able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines
  • Plus if prior experience in the product development process, agile development, and lean startup methodologies
  • Candidates without prior experience in the mobility sector are still encouraged to apply. However, candidates should be a self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, have the willingness to go beyond their comfort zone to learn new things and adapt to changes quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and can align business objectives with product priority
