Projects you will be working on?
This has to remain disclosed at this point - One thing is for sure: You will be the gearwheel for SOCAR’s brand new, highly classified task force “Growth Team”. The Growth Team has one mission: To build an evolutionary business vertical for SEA that brings SOCAR’s vision of car-sharing to the next level.

What will you be engaged in?
As our new Operations Executive (Growth Team) you will have the opportunity to streamline operations, planning process, procedures and methods to ensure supply acquisition, conversion, demand fulfilment, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and pricing efficiency.

  • Be part of developing workflows and business logic (e.g. membership, charges, insurance, premiums, vendors) in order to analyze and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Conduct car fleet capacity reviews to understand and ensure that the forecasted supply plan is reflected in the actual output.
  • Be part of the development of productivity or optimization measures to improve performance within the planning horizon.
  • Support operations data analysis and reports (eg. supply planning, supply forecast, etc).
  • Effectively develop approaches to monitor and optimise for customer satisfaction while keeping overall support cost low.
  • Work with the Operation team to develop SOPs to improve customer experience and optimise the operational environment
  • Drive day to day activities to ensure operational SOPs are effectively managed and maintained from a governance and on-going operations perspective
  • Support the Growth Team’s Operation Manager in overall operation needs.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferably Operation Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and techniques
  • Passion for analytics with initial knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through written reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Creative thinker, multi-tasker, data-oriented, and results driven
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Docs.
  • Held a Malaysian driving license for a minimum of 2 years.
