What will you be engaged in?
As the Senior Accounts Executive at SOCAR, you will handle a full-suite of finance and accounting matters. It includes and does not limit to:

  • Maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records in Netsuite accounting system;
  • Responsible for the full set of accounts ie AR, AP, GL and Cashflow;
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timely closing of monthly accounts and management reporting;
  • Prepare analysis/schedules of accounts for tracking, interpretation and monitoring purposes;
  • Perform and carry out any ad hoc tasks or responsibilities assigned by supervisor from time to time;
  • Responsible for all SST related matters including computation, payment, and filing;
  • Maintenance Fixed Assets Register and Hire Purchase Creditors Register as well as the completeness of all its supporting documents;
  • Invoicing, revenue recognition, collections, and AR register

Apart from the regular finance and accounting tasks, you will get to participate in the continuous improvement of the company’s internal controls and processes. You may also get a chance to work on special projects when the opportunity arises.

    • 3-5 years of experience in a full-suite of accounting responsibilities and submission of SST and income tax
    • Prior working experience at a high-growth startup or mid-size fast pace company
    • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    • Advanced MS office skills, active user of an ERP system
    • Multi-task and work at a fast-pace environment

    • Experience managing junior executives; guiding, leading and motivating them to perform at their best level
    • Impeccable work attitude and are willing to do whatever it takes to get stuff done

    How will your roadmap to join SOCAR look like?
